2022 was one of our biggest years ever!  We began a new adventure, moving from Tehachapi, California and relocating to Scottsdale, Arizona.  

All "adventures" require that we leave behind the people, places, and things that brought us stability and comfort in order to discover new places, meet new friends, and do things that we have never done before.  Adventure is out there!

Thank you for letting us share with you some of our highlights with you!

From the beautiful rock structures of the Grand Canyon and Sedona, to the forests above Prescott, and even farther north to Flagstaff, Page, and Zion National Park in Utah, we have seen some of the most beautiful sights in the world!

This little chapel in Sedona is where we spent our Christmas Day in 2021. It is a sacred place, and only about two hours from our apartment in Scottsdale. 

Living in Uptown Scottsdale! We moved from our beautiful, peaceful, and large house in Bear Valley Springs, to our smaller apartment unit in a 12 story apartment building overlooking Scottsdale and Phoenix. What a change! And very fun! 

The building is incredible, with rooftop swimming, a golf simulator next to the pickleball court, next to the large weight room, and more.  It's like living on a cruise ship. We can walk to restaurants, movie theaters, shopping, and my office.

Amber, Tim, Sawyer (14), Jane (11), and Oliver (8) are living in Beaverton, Oregon, and in 2022 we got to visit with them on four occasions including Thanksgiving where Grant, Dallas, and his whole family travelled with us! We were all together in 2022 for both Father's Day here in Scottsdale, and then for Thanksgiving in Oregon!  

It is so great to be able to be with our grandkids here in Arizona, and also up in Oregon! We are very blessed grandparents!

Dallas and Elle, Etzi (16) and Gideon (3) live about 20 minutes north in Cave Creek, and we love to see them! Doug gets to work part-time with Dallas, and Susie gets to spend lots of time with both Etzi and with Gideon. We are so grateful to be close to them all!

And then Grant moved out here in June to work for the summer, and decided to stay at least until the fall of 2023. He is working full-time with CalmWaves.com, the business that Dallas and Doug started last year. This is so great to have them around pretty much everyday!
